Amara & Leo

Amara and Leo married in an open paddock at Yarra Glen in early spring, as the light went from gold to violet over the ranges. Their families came from two countries, so we wrote the ceremony in both languages and let each grandmother hear her own words. We closed with a shared cup, passed from hand to hand before anyone was allowed to cry.
